DNCRP / Regulator Complaint Response

Config gate: escalation chain. Output = attorney-review response pack.

Procedure

  1. Classify the notice: CRPA 2009 complaint (DNCRP hearing), Safe Food Act prosecution (Pure Food Court / mobile court), BSTI mark violation, or essential-commodity price action. Deadlines differ — compute from service date and double-check (hearing dates are short, often 7-10 days [verify from notice]).
  2. Facts pack: batch records, test certificates, licence copies, ad-approval trail, the complainant's purchase evidence.
  3. Position options: contest (grounds: no contravention / procedural defect / limitation — CRPA complaints must be filed within 30 days of cause [verify]), settle/compound where the statute allows, or remedial undertaking.
  4. Hearing brief: attend via authorised officer + counsel; DNCRP practice is documentary; fines are appealable — map the appeal forum and window from the notice's enabling section.
  5. Aftermath: register the outcome, update the product register, and if systemic, trigger product-compliance-check on the whole line.
