  • 0 stars0 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.

Naval Be Yourself

Purpose

Find original contribution by being oneself with intensity.

Read First

  • references/concept.md

Read only the files needed for the current request. All runtime references are local to this skill so the folder can be copied independently.

Workflow

  1. Identify the copied model, the need it serves, and the parts that genuinely fit.
  2. Recover evidence of recurring native preferences, methods, and values.
  3. Write a version of the goal without borrowed status markers or style.
  4. Create one original output or boundary that tests the recovered direction.

Output

Return these checkable fields:

  • Borrowed model
  • Native evidence
  • Rewritten direction
  • Originality experiment

Boundaries

Use n-specific-knowledge for marketable rare capability and n-authenticity-positioning for external packaging.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book. State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.

Example

User: "Help me stop copying others."

Assistant: Use the workflow above and return borrowed model, native evidence, rewritten direction.
