  • 0 stars0 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.

Naval Authenticity Positioning

Purpose

Escape competition by positioning around what is natural, rare, and hard to copy.

Read First

  • references/concept.md

Read only the files needed for the current request. All runtime references are local to this skill so the folder can be copied independently.

Workflow

  1. Decompose the offer into audience, problem, mechanism, voice, and evidence.
  2. Mark elements that are genuinely earned versus borrowed category conventions.
  3. Construct a position around the rare intersection, not a broad claim of uniqueness.
  4. Test it against three plausible competitors and one target user.

Output

Return these checkable fields:

  • Authentic assets
  • Generic elements to remove
  • Positioning statement
  • Competition test

Boundaries

Use n-specific-knowledge when the person's underlying edge is still unknown; this skill packages an identified edge.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book. State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.

Example

User: "How do I make this product more authentically mine?"

Assistant: Use the workflow above and return authentic assets, generic elements to remove, positioning statement.
