lead-magnet
A specific, immediately useful offer the right person trades their email for - with consent done right.
Process
- Match to the persona's pain (
icp-persona): solve one specific problem fast (a checklist beats a 100-page ebook). - Pick the format: checklist, template, swipe file, mini-guide, calculator/tool, webinar, email course.
- Promise a clear outcome in the title ("the X that gets Y in Z").
- Outline the content: genuinely valuable, quick win; deliver on the promise.
- Opt-in flow: landing/opt-in copy (
landing-page), the form (minimal fields), confirmation, and a welcome sequence (email-sequence). Consent + privacy done properly (privacy-data/email-compliance).
Output
- The lead-magnet concept (format + title + outcome), a content outline, and the opt-in + delivery flow.
Guardrails
- Real value that delivers on the promise (no bait). Substantiated claims in the offer copy.
- Get consent; keep captured contacts in the ESP/CRM, not in files (
pii-guard); honor privacy law.
