Create Brand System

Create a usable system, not merely a moodboard.

Workflow

  1. Read docs/product/brief.md, docs/product/audience.md, docs/product/positioning.md, existing UI, current assets, and competing visual conventions.
  2. Identify the brand promise, desired perception, proof, and behaviors the identity must support.
  3. Define message hierarchy: one-line value proposition, primary claims, supporting proof, objections, and prohibited claims.
  4. Define voice with paired rules such as direct/not abrupt and confident/not inflated.
  5. Audit the current visual system before proposing replacement.
  6. Produce visual direction for logo, icon, color, typography, spacing, illustration, screenshots, and motion.
  7. Specify constraints for app icons, browser toolbar icons, store tiles, website, social previews, and light/dark backgrounds.
  8. Update docs/product/brand.md and affected positioning decisions.

Guardrails

  • Do not imitate a named living designer or copy competitor marks.
  • Preserve legibility at 16–32 px for extension icons.
  • Treat generated visual assets as candidates requiring visual QA and rights review.
