Description

Use this skill to review consent language for scar and keloid photography, de-identified registry use, teaching, research, and public media. It identifies missing sections and clinician/legal review needs. It does not provide legal advice or approve consent forms.

When to Use

  • A clinic plans to collect scar images for documentation or research.
  • A project needs consent wording for de-identified registry use.
  • A case may be used for teaching, publication, website, or social media.
  • A team needs to separate clinical-use consent from public-media consent.

Do Not Use

  • Do not provide legal approval.
  • Do not remove risk or privacy language to make consent sound easier.
