Before After Scar Analysis
Description
Use this skill to structure a conservative before/after scar comparison for clinical documentation, research preparation, or clinician review. It integrates photo-quality limitations, symptom change, treatment exposure, and follow-up timing. It does not independently determine recurrence or treatment success.
When to Use
- A scar or keloid has baseline and follow-up images.
- A clinician needs a cautious comparison note.
- A registry needs outcome-supporting observations without overstated claims.
- Marketing or teaching language needs bias controls.
Do Not Use
- Do not compare images with severe lighting, angle, focus, or timing confounders without stating limitations.
- Do not claim cure, guaranteed response, or recurrence status without clinician review.
- Do not use for emergency complications without escalation.
- Do not edit images to exaggerate differences.
Required Inputs
- Baseline and follow-up image quality notes, ideally from
scar-image-quality-review. - Visit offsets or follow-up interval.
- Treatment exposure between visits.
- Patient-reported symptoms if available.
- Clinician observations or validated scale scores if available.
