Media Entertainment Design

Content Discovery

  • Rows/rails of categorized content (Netflix pattern).
  • Featured/Hero: Auto-playing preview with title, description, play button.
  • Personalization: "Because you watched..." "Trending in [genre]".
  • Continue watching: Most important row, easily accessible.

Media Player

  • Minimal controls that appear on hover/tap, disappear on idle.
  • Scrubbing: preview thumbnails on hover over timeline.
  • Quality selector, subtitles, volume, fullscreen.
  • Mobile: tap to pause, double-tap to skip 10s.
