AI Futures Review

Objective

Evaluate AI timing, augmentation, substitution, centralization, governance, control, and hidden limits.

Workflow

  1. State the decision, object, time horizon, and constraints.
  2. Separate observed facts from assumptions and predictions.
  3. Apply every relevant check below; mark non-applicable checks explicitly.
  4. Look for a counterexample, failure mode, and competing explanation.
  5. Return the output contract and one concrete next action.

Source-grounded checks

  1. turing test significance — Assess a system by whether it crosses a human-substitution or complementarity threshold, not only benchmark scores.
  2. ai centralization map — Map compute, capital, talent, data, energy, and governance forces that centralize or decentralize AI.
