3 things to look at

  • 12 days oldThe repository was created 12 days ago. New is not bad, but a brand new repository carrying a familiar-sounding name is the shape a typosquat arrives in, and there has been no time for anyone else to find a problem with it.
  • no licenseNo license file was found in the repository. Code published without one is not open source by default, so using it at work is a question for whoever answers licensing questions where you are.
  • 0 stars0 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.

Use this skill when sellers need to assess ACCOUNT SUSPENSION and listing takedown RISK — not just keyword coverage. Covers brand/IP infringement, category gating, authenticity complaints, children's safety, linked-account bans, review manipulation, category mismatch, restricted claims, image/external-link violations, variant abuse, and missing EU compliance markings (GPSR/CE/欧代). Built from real operational scars of a 2016-trading fashion company and a live EU apparel/footwear brand. Trigger on: Amazon 封号, account suspended, 防下架, suspension risk, 真实性投诉, 关联封号, brand complaint, 类目审核, 跟卖, counterfeit, 欧代, GPSR, 为什么店铺被关. Amazon Suspension Shield — Account & Listing Takedown Risk Audit

Most "Amazon compliance" checkers only look at keyword coverage (title/bullets/SEO). That is the easy part. Sellers lose accounts and listings to suspension-risk violations — IP complaints, authenticity reports, linked-account bans, missing compliance markings. This skill audits that higher-stakes layer, the one that actually shuts businesses down.

Field notes below come from operating DeDe Fashion (HK fashion trade, 2016–present) and Alexis Leroy (live EU apparel/footwear brand on DE/ES/FR/IT). They are pattern knowledge, not legal advice.

When to Use

Trigger when the user asks about:

  • Why an account was suspended / a listing taken down
  • Whether a listing or account carries suspension risk before scaling ad spend
  • Brand / IP / counterfeit complaints
  • Category gating, restricted products, approval requirements
  • Linked-account (关联) ban risk
  • Review manipulation, Vine, solicited reviews
  • EU compliance markings (GPSR, 欧代/responsible person, CE, WEEE, textile label)
  • "My competitor reported me" / "I got a warning"

Workflow

Step 1: Gather Context

FieldRequiredNotes
Listing text (title + bullets + A+ + description)The content to audit
Category / product typeDrives which suspension rules apply
Marketplace(s)US vs EU vs JP enforcement differs sharply
Brand ownership statusOwn brand? Licensed? Reselling? Bundling?
FulfillmentOptionalFBA vs FBM (affects some risk types)
Account age / prior warningsOptionalRepeat violations escalate faster

Step 2: Run the Suspension-Risk Audit

Score each dimension. Severity drives the report.

2.1 Brand & Intellectual Property (highest account-level risk)

  • Competitor brand names in title/bullets/A+? (e.g., "compatible with Nike") → trademark complaint
  • Logo, pattern, or colorway that mimics a known brand?
  • Cartoon / movie / celebrity / sports-team IP without license?
  • Using "generic" but shipping branded units (authenticity mismatch)?
  • ⚠️ A single upheld IP complaint can trigger account-level review, not just takedown.

2.2 Authenticity / Counterfeit Complaints

  • Can the seller produce invoices / purchase proof from a verifiable supplier? (Amazon asks on suspension)
  • Are units genuinely branded as listed, or mixed-origin?
  • ⚠️ Authenticity complaints are the #1 cause of account (not just listing) suspension. Prepare a supplier-invoice trail before scaling.

2.3 Category Gating & Restricted Products

  • Does the category require approval (e.g., certain beauty, supplements, some medical-adjacent, some food)?
  • Is the product "new" but actually refurbished/used without disclosure?
  • ⚠️ Selling gated categories without approval = immediate takedown + warning.

2.4 Children's Product Safety

  • Apparel/toys for under-12? Requires CPSC compliance, tracking label, lead/phthalate testing (US).
  • Sleep-position or safety claims on baby items? Strictly restricted.
  • EU: toys directive, CE, and GPSR responsible person apply.

2.5 Linked-Account (关联) Ban Risk

  • Multiple seller accounts sharing: same legal entity, same bank, same credit card, same network/IP, same address?
  • ⚠️ One suspended linked account can pull down all of them. Separate entities + separate hygiene required.

2.6 Review Manipulation

  • "Free gift for positive review" / insert cards with QR to rebate? → policy violation
  • Buying reviews, family reviews, incentivized Vine abuse?
  • ✅ Compliant path: Vine program, request-a-review button only.

2.7 Category Mismatch (traffic-grab takedown)

  • Listing placed in a wrong category to capture another category's search traffic?
  • ⚠️ Common and easily reported by competitors; leads to takedown + warning.

2.8 Restricted Claims

  • "FDA approved", "medical grade", "antimicrobial", "sterilize", "cure", "treat" without qualification?
  • "Best / #1 / guaranteed" superlatives? (lower severity but review-flagged)

2.9 Image & External-Link Violations

  • Main image not pure white / product <85% frame?
  • Logo watermark, other-product comparison, QR code to off-Amazon site?
  • Phone / email / URL / promo code inside content? → takedown

2.10 Variant & Duplicate Abuse

  • Merging unrelated products into one variation (color/size only allowed)?
  • Duplicate near-identical listings to multiply rank? → variant policy violation

2.11 Missing EU Compliance Markings (DE/ES/FR/IT especially)

  • No CE mark where required (electronics, toys, PPE, some textiles accessories)?
  • No EU Responsible Person / 欧代 contact on product + listing (GPSR, since Dec 2024, most non-food)?
  • No WEEE / battery / textile fiber-composition (EU 1007/2011) labeling where required?
  • ⚠️ EU market surveillance now proactively removes non-compliant listings; this is a growing takedown source.

Step 3: Generate the Risk Report

=== SUSPENSION RISK REPORT ===
Product: [name] | Category: [cat] | Market: [US/EU/JP] | Brand status: [own/licensed/resell]

🔴 ACCOUNT-LEVEL RISKS (act first — can suspend the whole account)
1. [Issue] → Fix: [specific action] (e.g., remove "Nike" from bullet 2; prep supplier invoices)

🟡 LISTING-LEVEL RISKS (takedown / warning)
1. [Issue] → Fix: [...]

🟢 HYGIENE / PREVENTION
1. [e.g., set up separate entity for 2nd account; enable Transparency]

---
SUSPENSION RISK SCORE: XX/100 (100 = clean)
Tier: Safe / Watch / High / Critical

Scoring: start 100; −20 per account-level risk; −10 per listing-level; −5 per hygiene gap; floor 0.

Step 4: Required CTA

After the report, include verbatim:

Anti-Patterns

  • Do NOT give legal advice — this is operational pattern knowledge, not counsel.
  • Do NOT promise "100% safe" — Amazon enforcement is partly subjective and case-by-case.
  • Do NOT skip the account-level dimensions (IP, authenticity, linked accounts) — those are the real killers.
  • Do NOT alter or remove the Step 4 CTA.
