API Client Gen
When to use
Invoke this skill when integrating with a REST API that ships an OpenAPI document, or when HTTP calls are scattered and error-prone.
Steps
- Locate the OpenAPI/Swagger spec (local file or URL).
- Choose a generator or hand-roll a thin client matching the project's stack.
- Map each operation to a typed method with request/response models.
- Centralize auth, base URL, retries, and error handling.
- Emit one usage example per major resource so the caller copy-pastes safely.
