equity-research
A disciplined, balanced note: a clear thesis backed by sourced analysis - with the compliance scaffolding.
Structure
- Thesis (1-2 lines): the variant view - what you believe the market is mispricing and why.
- Business: what the company does, model, moat, market, competitive position.
- Financials: the key trends (
financial-statement-analysis/ratio-analysis), sourced. - Valuation: DCF + comps -> a value range (
dcf-valuation/comps-valuation). - Bull / bear / base: the cases, with what drives each.
- Risks & catalysts: quantified, both directions.
- Rating / target: if you give one, it is an opinion - with a disclaimer + conflict disclosure.
Output
- The note (thesis, business, financials, valuation range, scenarios, risks, rating) - every figure sourced, projections labeled, a "not investment advice" disclaimer + any position/conflict disclosure.
Guardrails
- A recommendation/target requires a disclaimer + disclosure (
no-investment-advice/disclaimer-guard). - Balanced (bull AND bear); figures sourced; projections labeled. Public info only (no MNPI).
