The caption converts the view into an action. Hashtags + alt text help reach and accessibility.

Caption

First line is a hook (it shows before "...more") - don't waste it.
Body: value/story in short, scannable lines; the creator's voice.
One CTA: save / share / comment a real question / link in bio.

Hashtags

A focused mix (not 30 random): a few niche-specific, a few mid-size, 1-2 broad. Relevant to the post.
CamelCase for readability + screen readers (#MorningRoutine).
Avoid banned/spammy tags and irrelevant trend-jacking.

Alt text

Describe the image for screen readers; include any on-image text.

Output

Caption (hook/body/CTA) + hashtag set + alt text. If sponsored, the disclosure is in the caption up-front.
