Overview

Use this skill to reduce avoidable Reddit removals by checking the post against community and platform norms.

Workflow

  1. Identify the exact subreddit and read its rules/sidebar/wiki before editing content.
  2. Check account readiness: age, karma, prior removals, and recent posting frequency.
  3. Check the draft for hard-promo tone, repeated cross-posting, short links, excessive outbound links, unsupported claims, off-topic framing, and title clickbait.
  4. Rewrite toward helpfulness: answer the user's problem first, disclose affiliation when relevant, and move links after value.
  5. Avoid rapid edits immediately after posting unless correcting a clear mistake.
  6. If removed, inspect removal reason first; then draft a short modmail asking for clarification or review.

Output

Return a risk checklist, revised title/body, link policy note, and a publish / hold / ask mods first verdict.
