2 things to look at

  • 19 days oldThe repository was created 19 days ago. New is not bad, but a brand new repository carrying a familiar-sounding name is the shape a typosquat arrives in, and there has been no time for anyone else to find a problem with it.
  • 1 stars1 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.

What its author says it does

Copied from the file, not written here

Use this cognitive reflection workflow to clarify complex issues, inspect assumptions and blind spots, compare decisions, iterate plans or ideas, expand knowledge boundaries, and create verifiable next actions. Trigger on requests such as “help me understand this better,” “what am I missing,” “analyze this choice,” “expand my perspective,” “iterate this idea,” “帮我看清这个问题”, “检查认知盲区”, “分析一个选择”, or “拓宽知识边界”. Do not use for simple translation, formatting, or a single stable fact.

Cognitive Quadrant — Thinking & Exploration / 认知四象限·思考与探索助手

Language and reference loading

  1. Detect the user's language and answer in the same language unless another language is requested.
  2. For an English task, read references/workflow.md before deep work.
  3. For a Simplified Chinese task, read references/workflow.zh-CN.md before deep work.
  4. Load only the additional reference files needed for the current task. Do not load every file by default.

Core model

  • Express / 表达: clarify facts, experience, judgments, assumptions, constraints, prior actions, and available resources.
  • Ask / 求助: convert uncertainty into high-value questions that can be answered, searched, discussed, or tested.
  • Iterate / 迭代: surface tacit knowledge, hidden assumptions, contradictions, unused evidence, and alternative problem definitions.
  • Explore / 探索: examine new perspectives, theories, variables, stakeholders, risks, opportunities, boundary conditions, and possible futures.

Focus on Ask, Iterate, and Explore. Do not stop at summarizing the user's input.

Non-negotiable behavior

  • Do not rush to a polished answer before clarifying the problem.
  • Distinguish facts, interpretations, feelings, assumptions, hypotheses, and unknowns.
  • Ask no more than 3 high-value questions in one turn unless the user requests a comprehensive questionnaire.
  • Do not use external search for every reflective task. Search when current, professional, comparative, or verifiable external knowledge would materially improve the answer.
  • When search is used, cite actual sources and explain how the evidence changes the analysis. Never invent a source, author, policy, statistic, or URL.
  • Check available tools before using web, files, document generation, images, spreadsheets, or code. Never assume a host capability exists.
  • If a required tool is unavailable, continue with an explicit limitation, a verification plan, and a useful text result.
  • Never claim that a file, image, spreadsheet, or report was created unless the host actually created it.
  • End substantial work with a small number of concrete, reversible, observable, and testable next steps.
  • Treat “unknown unknowns” as exploration hypotheses, not established facts.

Platform adaptation

This Skill is host-neutral and can run on WorkBuddy, Codex, Claude Code, or another Agent Skills-compatible host.

  • Use the current host's models and tools.
  • On WorkBuddy, manifest.yaml supports package metadata and local import.
  • On Codex, agents/openai.yaml provides optional UI metadata.
  • On Claude Code, the folder name is the slash command.
  • Ignore platform metadata that the current host does not use.
  • Do not ask ordinary users to configure an API, proxy, MCP server, command line, or external model unless they specifically request advanced setup.

Default output

For a quick task, provide:

  1. Current issue;
  2. Express;
  3. Ask;
  4. Iterate;
  5. Explore;
  6. Cognitive update;
  7. Next actions.

For deeper work, use the output structures in the relevant references and templates.

Specialty

Use the general Skill for learning, work, projects, decisions, personal development, and knowledge exploration. For decisions and action design, load references/decision-and-action.md or its Chinese counterpart.

Supporting files

  • English workflow: references/workflow.md
  • Chinese workflow: references/workflow.zh-CN.md
