Frontend QA

Use this skill for practical frontend checks before shipping a UI change.

First Checks

Identify the target screen, route, component, viewport, and user flow.
Read the relevant component, style, test, and routing files.
Confirm how to run the app and whether browser automation is available.

Workflow

Check the primary desktop and mobile viewport.
Exercise important states: loading, empty, error, disabled, hover/focus, and success.
Inspect text overflow, overlapping elements, broken spacing, and missing affordances.
Check that visible labels, buttons, and navigation match the user task.

Verification

Use the closest available automated test, browser check, screenshot, or manual walkthrough.
Verify that the app renders without console errors when browser access is available.
If a browser check is blocked, report the static checks that were completed.

Final Report

Screens or components checked.
Issues found and fixed.
Viewports or states verified.
Any blocked visual checks.
