Spring Boot Actuator Abuse

When to Use

  • When auditing Java Spring Boot applications that expose monitoring and management endpoints (commonly /actuator).
  • To extract sensitive environment variables, hidden credentials, or potentially achieve RCE when Spring Cloud routing is enabled.

Prerequisites
