Audit Xiaohongshu Profiles

Make the profile understandable in seconds without inventing credentials or compressing the account into empty slogans.

Required inputs

Use what is available: nickname, avatar, bio, pinned posts, account role, target reader, offer, proof, content pillars, current problem, and permitted next action. If a missing choice changes the positioning materially, ask one concise question; otherwise state the assumption and continue.

Workflow

  1. Write the current first-impression sentence exactly as a new visitor would understand it.
  2. Test five questions: who is this, who is it for, what recurring problem does it solve, why is it credible, and what should the visitor do next?
  3. Separate evidence from claims. Accept real work process, qualifications, product facts, cases, demonstrations, boundaries, and consistent expertise. Reject invented proof or vague self-praise.
  4. Identify the earliest trust break: unclear role, audience sprawl, abstract benefit, proof gap, inconsistent content, weak pinned posts, or forced action.
  5. Rewrite the bio in several strategic directions, not cosmetic synonyms.
  6. Design three pinned-post jobs: orientation, proof/method, and next-step/FAQ. Adapt the jobs when the account is editorial rather than commercial.
  7. Check that nickname, bio, pinned posts, recent topics, and next action tell one coherent story.

Bio rules

  • Prefer audience, problem, method or evidence, boundary, and next action.
  • Keep only claims the account can prove.
  • Use concrete nouns and verbs; remove “赋能、链接、成长、热爱、长期主义” when they carry no operational meaning.
  • Do not turn every bio into a sales pitch. Editorial, expert, product, and service accounts need different acceptance paths.
  • Keep the next action platform-compliant and low-pressure.

Output

  1. First impression: what a new visitor understands now.
  2. Priority issues: evidence, impact, and confidence for each issue.
  3. Positioning sentence: audience + recurring problem + method/evidence + boundary.
  4. Bio options: clear professional, natural conversational, search-aware, and consultation-aware versions.
  5. Pinned-post plan: title direction, content job, proof required, and desired action for three posts.
  6. Consistency fixes: nickname, avatar, bio, pinned posts, and recent content.
  7. Next test: one change to publish and one observation window.

If the user asks only for a bio rewrite, provide five complete bio options and one selection rule; do not add a full account audit.

Guardrails

Do not invent clients, revenue, followers, awards, qualifications, results, or platform features. Do not promise profile visits, inquiries, or conversion. Do not include hidden contact methods or moderation-evasion language.
