Building reports and research
Process
- Clarify the scope. An underspecified request (without a budget/region/criteria) → 2–3 clarifying questions before starting.
- Search fan-out. Several queries for different facets of the topic; read primary sources, not snippets.
- Fact-checking. Current facts (prices, leaders, statuses, laws) — only from fresh search, not from memory. Conflicting sources — show the discrepancy, don't choose silently.
- Synthesis with citation. Every non-trivial statement — with a link to the source. For a contested one — several perspectives.
- Formatting. With prose and tables, without bloat. Document formats (docx/pdf/pptx/xlsx) — via the corresponding skills.
Reinforcement
- Deep multi-stage research with adversarial verification — the
deep-researchskill (if installed). - Contested/strategic conclusions — run them through
fusionfor several points of view. - Data visualization — charts/dashboards into the report.
