2 things to look at
- no licenseNo license file was found in the repository. Code published without one is not open source by default, so using it at work is a question for whoever answers licensing questions where you are.
- 1 stars1 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.
What its author says it does

APAM Status
Steps
- Run
apam statusfrom the current repository using the local shell. - Read the line that starts with
Project:and copy the exact 16-character hex value. - Treat that value as the authoritative
project_idfor all APAM MCP tool calls in this session. - Report the project ID and any useful counts from the status output.
Rules
- Do not construct or guess the
project_id. - Do not rely on MCP
apam_statuswith no arguments for project discovery in a long-lived agent session, because the MCP server may be running from a different cwd. - If
apamis not globally available, runnode /absolute/path/to/APAM/packages/apam-mcp/dist/cli.js statusfrom the target repository instead.
