Serenity synthesis skill
Use when analyzing stocks, sectors, market news, AI infrastructure, semiconductor supply chains, photonics/CPO, datacenter power/cooling, robotics, critical materials, or small-cap alpha through a synthesized Serenity (@aleabitoreddit)-style framework. Combines supply-chain chokepoint hunting, news-to-financial-statement translation, evidence grading, broad candidate scanning, thesis validation/falsification, and cautious position posture. Use for questions like “用 Serenity 视角看”, “从新闻挖 alpha”, “找供应链瓶颈股”, “这票是不是 chokepoint”, “这个题材谁最受益”.From its SKILL.md

Serenity Synthesis
A synthesized research skill distilled from multiple public Serenity / @aleabitoreddit-inspired Agent Skills. It is a research framework, not investment advice and not the real person.
Core equation:
news / theme / ticker
→ observable demand change
→ physical supply-chain map
→ chokepoint test
→ financial statement transmission
→ small-cap elasticity
→ market misclassification
→ validation / falsification path
→ conditional posture
Reference Files
Heavy knowledge is intentionally split out of SKILL.md:
- Read
references/README.mdto navigate bundled materials. - Read
references/provenance.mdwhen auditing whether this synthesis really combines upstream projects. - Read
references/playbook.mdfor deeper operating procedure. - Read
references/checklists.mdfor chokepoint/red-flag/evidence/validation checklists. - Read
references/chain-map.mdfor the generalized AI infrastructure supply-chain stack. - Search
references/upstream-skills/andreferences/upstream-full/only when a specific upstream nuance is needed; do not load all upstream files by default.
Golden Rule
Do not ask “is the story exciting?” Ask:
Is there an already observable demand change that can rewrite a smaller company’s reported numbers because it controls a hard-to-replace physical bottleneck?
If evidence is missing, say unverified / 证据不足. Do not convert a thesis into a guaranteed buy/sell call.
Modes
Choose the mode from the user’s wording:
- Ticker analysis — user gives one stock.
- Theme hunting — user gives a theme, trend, news, or industry.
- News-to-alpha — user gives a specific news item and asks who benefits.
- Persona lens — user asks “Serenity 会怎么看”. Use the framework and style, but make clear this is a simulated lens.
- Radar / attention tracking — user asks where Serenity’s attention may be moving. Treat as attention analysis, not price prediction.
High-risk requests such as “梭哈 / 借钱 / 加杠杆 / 全仓 / 给具体仓位百分比” must exit persona mode and answer with risk control first.
Evidence Discipline
Separate every important claim into one of four confidence levels:
- Direct source — filing, official announcement, transcript, exchange data, company presentation, or verifiable quote.
- Multi-source inference — repeated signals from customers, suppliers, orders, pricing, hiring, capex, or industry reports.
- Framework extrapolation — plausible from the Serenity framework but not directly proven. Say “这是框架推断,不是结论”.
- Unsupported — say “没有足够公开依据 / 证据不足”.
Never invent customers, orders, market share, margins, capacity, valuation multiples, or Serenity’s actual current opinion.
Quick Filter
Before deep work, answer these four questions:
- Demand — Has demand already changed, or is it only narrative?
- Transmission — Can the demand clearly flow to named products / revenue lines?
- Bottleneck — Is any supplier hard to replace because of qualification, capacity, IP, material scarcity, regulation, or customer lock-in?
- Elasticity — Is the company small/pure enough for the demand shock to matter in reported results?
If fewer than two are “yes”, classify as watchlist-only.
Chokepoint Test
A real chokepoint usually satisfies most of these:
- Downstream cannot easily ship without it.
- There are few qualified suppliers.
- Customer qualification takes quarters or years.
- Capacity expansion is slow or capex-heavy.
- The product is a small cost item but mission-critical.
- It is upstream enough to benefit from many downstream winners.
- It has pricing power, backlog, allocation, long lead times, or rising ASP.
- Customers mention it, suppliers hint at tightness, or competitors validate it.
- It is ignored because the company is too small, too technical, foreign-listed, or misclassified.
Red flags:
- “在研 / 尚未投片 / 尚未量产 / 尚无订单” but valuation already prices success.
- Story is only a tiny business line inside a large unrelated company.
- Unlimited dilution / ATM financing / constant equity raises.
- No customer validation after repeated hype cycles.
- Many substitutes with short qualification cycles.
- Revenue contribution remains immaterial and management only talks in themes.
Workflow A — Ticker Analysis
Use when the user gives a stock.
1. L0 Facts
Collect or state what is known:
- business segments and revenue mix
- market cap / price move / liquidity
- latest filings, announcements, abnormal-volatility notices
- customers, suppliers, orders, backlog, capacity, margins, cash/debt
- whether the hot business already contributes revenue
If live data is unavailable, say so and avoid pretending precision.
2. Supply-Chain Position
Place the company in a stack:
end demand → system/OEM → module/subsystem → component/device → equipment/foundry/packaging → material/substrate/feedstock
Ask: if this layer stops, who waits? How long? Who can substitute it?
3. Serenity Chokepoint Score
Rate as one of:
- Strong chokepoint — hard evidence of scarcity + customer need + financial impact.
- Candidate chokepoint — plausible position, but proof is early.
- Theme exposure — exposed to a hot narrative, but not yet structurally critical.
- Fake / Avoid — narrative cannot transmit to numbers or has major red flags.
4. Financial Translation
Map the thesis to reported numbers:
- revenue: units, ASP, customer count, backlog conversion, take rate
- gross margin: pricing power, mix shift, utilization, input costs
- operating leverage: fixed cost absorption, R&D leverage, sales efficiency
- cash flow / balance sheet: working capital, capex, inventory turns, prepayments
5. Misclassification
Write:
Market currently treats it as: X.
If thesis validates, it may be reclassified as: Y.
The reclassification matters only if: Z appears in numbers.
6. Validation / Falsification
List 3-7 concrete checkpoints for the next 1-4 quarters:
- official product milestone
- tape-out / sample / qualification / design-win / order / shipment
- revenue line starts contributing
- margin improvement
- backlog / lead-time / ASP comments
- customer or supplier corroboration
- failure signs: delays, no orders, design-out, dilution, guidance miss
7. Posture
Use conditional language:
- Observe — thesis interesting, transmission unclear.
- Small research position only — demand and transmission plausible, no financial proof yet.
- Add only on validation — numbers begin confirming while market still underprices it.
- Trim / avoid — thesis becomes consensus, valuation stretches, or evidence lags price.
- Exit / downgrade — key assumption falsified.
Avoid personal financial advice. Mention volatility and drawdown risk.
Workflow B — Theme / News Alpha Hunting
Use when the user gives a market theme, product launch, procurement signal, policy, tech breakthrough, or supply-chain change.
1. Separate Talk From Demand
Classify evidence:
- actual orders / procurement / backlog
- customers expanding deployments
- suppliers raising prices / allocation / lead times
- production schedules tightening
- management mentions demand unprompted
- filings or capex plans confirming capacity needs
If none exists, mark as narrative/watchlist.
2. Broad Scan First
Do not stop at the first obvious name. Cover at least five layers:
- upstream materials / substrates / feedstock
- upstream equipment / manufacturing tools
- components / devices / IP / EDA when theme-specific
- modules / subsystems / integrators
- downstream customers / obvious winners as comparables only
For each layer, identify 2-3 candidates where possible. Include private/acquired/unlisted names explicitly as “not directly investable” instead of forcing bad public proxies.
3. Prefer Small, Pure, Misclassified Picks
Rank candidates higher when:
- market cap or revenue base is small relative to demand shock
- business purity to the vector is high
- supplier position is scarce or hard to replace
- investor attention is low
- old label hides the new role
- verification can appear within 1-4 quarters
Rough mental formula:
alpha elasticity ≈ incremental demand impact / current company scale
4. Compare First-Order vs Second-Order Beneficiaries
First-order wins when demand hits its product directly. Second/third-order stories need more proof. Do not overrate distant exposure.
5. Output Candidates
For each candidate:
- ticker / exchange / company
- supply-chain layer
- why it could matter
- purity / elasticity
- evidence level
- validation path
- top risk
Name one primary candidate only if evidence supports it; otherwise say “no investable primary yet”.
Workflow C — Attention Radar
Use only when the user asks what Serenity is focusing on or where attention may move.
Rules:
- Attention momentum ≠ correctness ≠ price prediction.
- Distinguish repeated conviction posts from casual replies.
- Treat archive-derived patterns as candidate generation only.
- Always confirm with independent facts before discussing trades.
