Generates a complete guest post article for TrueProfit to be published on a partner website. Use this skill whenever the user wants to write a full guest post, full article, or full-length content placement for a partner/publisher site — not just a short blurb or paragraph. Triggers include: 'write a full guest post for X', 'generate a full article for partner Y', 'create a guest post article', 'write a press release for Z', 'write a full SEO article for link exchange', 'draft a guest post', or any request combining 'article' or 'post' with a partner/publisher context. Always use this skill (not trueprofit-guest-post) when the user wants more than a single section or paragraph.

TrueProfit Guest Post — Full Article Generator

Purpose

Generate a complete, publish-ready guest post article for TrueProfit, matched to the publisher's style — either a full SEO blog post or a press release format.

TrueProfit Brand Reference

Use only the facts below. Never invent features, pricing, stats, or claims.

What TrueProfit is: TrueProfit is the #1 Net Profit Analytics Platform built for Shopify and ecommerce merchants. It consolidates revenue, costs, products, and marketing performance into one unified dashboard, showing net profit at every level: storewide, by product, and by ad channel.

Core value proposition:

  • Shows real net profit after all costs, not just revenue or gross profit
  • Catches profit leaks early so merchants can fix them fast
  • Helps merchants scale winners and cut what is not profitable
  • Turns complex store data into simple, actionable, profit-focused insights

Key features (use selectively based on angle and context):

  • Real-time net profit dashboard
  • Net profit visibility at every level: storewide, by product, by ad channel
  • Automatic cost tracking: COGS, ad spend, shipping fees, transaction fees, custom costs
  • Profit-based product analytics and attribution
  • Complete P&L reporting (weekly and monthly)
  • Customer lifetime value (CLV)
  • Custom metrics and KPIs
  • Marketing attribution (profit-first, not ROAS-first)
  • MCP connection (connects merchant store data to LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
  • Mobile app

Pricing:

  • 14-day free trial
  • Basic: $35/month (300 orders, $0.30/extra, max $300 surcharge)
  • Advanced: $60/month (600 orders, $0.20/extra, max $500 surcharge)
  • Ultimate (Recommended): $100/month (1,500 orders, $0.10/extra, max $700 surcharge)
  • Enterprise: $200/month (3,500 orders, $0.07/extra, max $1,000 surcharge)

Rating: 5.0/5 (770+ reviews on Shopify App Store)

Key URLs:

Verified benchmark data (use these exact figures; never fabricate or substitute):

  • Shopify seller income distribution: about 60% of new Shopify stores make under $1,000/month, roughly 20% reach $10,000 or more per month, and the top 10% earn $100,000 or more per month.
  • Dropshipping income by experience level (TrueProfit analysis of 1,200+ stores): beginners $0 to $2,000/month, intermediate $2,000 to $10,000/month, advanced $10,000 to $50,000+/month. First sale usually within 7 to 14 days; reaching $5,000 to $10,000/month typically takes 6 to 12 months.
  • Dropshipping margins: a gross margin of 65 to 70% is favorable; a net margin of 15 to 25% is the strong benchmark after all costs.
  • Any other statistic or benchmark must come from published TrueProfit data. If you do not have a verified TrueProfit figure, leave the stat out rather than inventing one.

Referenced platform pricing (Shopify, US, 2026): When an article cites Shopify plan prices, use US pricing and give a concrete number for every tier, never a vague descriptor, and always state the billing cycle: Basic $39/month ($29 billed annually), Grow $105/month ($79 annually), Advanced $399/month ($299 annually), Shopify Plus from $2,300/month. Pricing is region-specific, so use US figures for US-facing posts.

Competitor comparison reference (leader-approved; use these exact figures and positioning, never invent competitor pricing or capabilities): When an article compares TrueProfit to other analytics tools, use this table as the canonical reference. Add or drop rows to fit the article, but keep the data consistent with it.

Workflow

Step 1 — Intake questions

Ask all of the following in a single numbered list. Wait for the user to answer before proceeding.

  1. What is the article topic or working title?
  2. What is the primary keyword to target?
  3. Where should the TrueProfit link go? (Homepage / Shopify App listing / specific blog URL — provide the URL if other)
  4. What anchor text should be used for the TrueProfit link(s)? (If not provided, determine appropriate anchor text based on topic and context)
  5. Which format is this guest post?
    • Option A: Normal SEO post — editorial blog style, practitioner voice, optimized for search
    • Option B: Press release — formal, brand-narrated, structured for PR distribution
  6. Target word count? (Default: 1,500–2,500 words)
  7. Do you have a reference article from the publisher to match their style? (Paste a URL or sample text — required for Option A, optional for Option B)

Once the user answers, move to Step 2.

Step 2 — Analyze reference material (if provided)

If the user provides a reference article or URL, extract and match:

  • Tone: casual/conversational, neutral/editorial, formal/corporate
  • Opening structure: hook, stat-led, question, problem statement, or direct assertion
  • Heading format: H2 only, H2+H3, numbered, plain
  • Body structure: numbered list of ideas, flowing sections, step-by-step, comparison tables
  • Internal link style: always use inline hyperlinks on descriptive text — never "Further Reading" callouts, footnotes, or bare URLs
  • List style: bullet with bold label + colon, plain bullets, numbered, or no lists
  • Paragraph length: short (1–3 sentences), medium (3–5 sentences), or long blocks
  • CTA/pitch placement: end of article, mid-article, or dedicated section
  • Closing: summary + CTA, open-ended, or media contact block (press release)
  • Length: approximate word count of reference

If no reference is provided for Option A, default to TrueProfit native blog style (see below).

Step 3 — Write the article

Option A: Normal SEO Post

Follow TrueProfit native blog style unless the reference article overrides specific elements.

TrueProfit native blog style rules:

  • Voice: first/second person, practitioner, peer-to-peer — write like someone who has done this, not a brand talking at you
  • Tone: direct, opinionated, no hedging, no corporate filler
  • Opening: 2–3 short paragraphs that immediately establish what the article covers and who it is for. No "In today's fast-paced world" openings.
  • Quick Recap box: place after the intro — a 3–5 bullet summary of what the reader will learn or the key takeaways. Label it Quick Recap:
  • Headings: H2 for main sections, H3 for subsections. Numbered headings for list-style articles (e.g. "1. Dropshipping", "2. Print-on-demand").
  • Body: short paragraphs (2–4 sentences max). No walls of text.
  • Lists: use bullet points only when listing 3+ parallel items. Each bullet at least one full sentence.
  • Tables: use for comparisons (pricing tiers, plan features, cost breakdowns).
  • Links: always use inline hyperlinks on descriptive text. Never use "Further Reading" callouts or bare URLs.
  • No em dashes. Use commas, colons, or semicolons instead.
  • No AI-sounding filler: no "delve into", "it's worth noting", "in conclusion", "in summary", "it is important to", "game-changer", "revolutionize".
  • Bold only for genuinely important terms or labels, not for decoration.
  • Benchmarks and data: if the article includes statistics or benchmarks about Shopify, dropshipping income, profit margins, or ecommerce performance, always use TrueProfit's own numbers from the Brand Reference (see Verified benchmark data) and published TrueProfit data. Never fabricate stats or pull generic figures from unattributed sources.
  • Income expectations: for "how to start on Shopify" or "how much can you make" articles, include a realistic earnings section using the verified Shopify seller income distribution (60% under $1,000/month, 20% reach $10,000+/month, top 10% earn $100,000+/month). For dropshipping articles, use the dropshipping income ranges instead. Do not leave the reader without a concrete income picture.
  • Net profit messaging: whenever you contrast TrueProfit or net profit with Shopify's native reports, state explicitly that Shopify reports do not track net profit and that net profit is the only number that reflects the true bottom line.
  • Feature and metric lists: when listing what TrueProfit shows or tracks, lead with storewide net profit, then profit by product, then profit by ad channel, matching "net profit at every level: storewide, by product, by ad channel." Never output an empty or placeholder bullet; every bullet must contain a complete item.
  • TrueProfit pitch: place as a dedicated section near the end. Use a natural transition from the article's topic to why profit tracking matters. Feature list uses plain bullets. Include a dashboard image placeholder labeled: [TrueProfit Dashboard]
  • CTA: short, direct call-to-action box or paragraph after the pitch section.
  • Meta description: place at the very top of the document, labeled Meta description: (~155 characters, includes primary keyword).

SEO structure template (adapt as needed):

Meta description: [~155 chars]

# [H1 Title with primary keyword]

[Intro: 2–3 short paragraphs]

Quick Recap:
- [bullet]
- [bullet]
- [bullet]

## [H2 Section 1]
[body]

## [H2 Section 2]
[body]

... (main body sections)

## [TrueProfit pitch section]
[2–3 para intro + feature list + dashboard image placeholder + CTA]

Option B: Press Release

Follow formal PR/press release conventions.

Press release style rules:

  • Voice: third-person brand narration throughout. Refer to TrueProfit as "TrueProfit" or "the company", not "we" or "you".
  • Tone: professional, authoritative, neutral. No casual language.
  • Opening: strong headline + subheadline. First paragraph answers who, what, when, where, why in 2–3 sentences.
  • Structure: labeled H2 sections (Introduction, [Topic Section], Key Features / Key Metrics, [Optional: Merchant Success Stories or Expert Commentary], Looking Ahead, Conclusion)
  • No Quick Recap box, no FAQ section, no numbered product lists.
  • Feature lists use plain bullets with Bold label: description format.
  • Paragraphs: medium length (3–5 sentences). More formal than blog style.
  • Links: hyperlink TrueProfit name or specific feature terms inline.
  • Closing: Conclusion paragraph + Media Contact block:
    Media Contact
    Company Name: TrueProfit
    Contact Person: TrueProfit Team
    Email: [email protected]
    City: Ho Chi Minh City
    Country: Vietnam
    Website: https://trueprofit.io

  • No meta description at the top.
  • No FAQ at the end.
  • Image placeholders labeled: [Thumbnail link] and [Image link] where relevant.

Press release structure template:

# [Headline: Active verb, brand name, key claim]

## Introduction
[2–3 paragraphs: context + why this matters now + TrueProfit's role]

## [Core Topic Section — e.g. "Why Profit Tracking Matters"]
[body + bullet list if needed]

## [TrueProfit Solution Section]
[description + feature bullets]

## [Supporting Section — e.g. "Key Metrics Every Merchant Should Track"]
[body]

## [Optional: Merchant Success Stories]
[1–2 short anecdotes, anonymized or generic if no real data available]

## Looking Ahead
[forward-looking paragraph on industry trend + TrueProfit positioning]

## Conclusion
[summary paragraph + CTA mention]

Media Contact
...

Step 4 — Delivery

Save the full article as a .md file in /mnt/user-data/outputs/ using a slug based on the article title (e.g. shopify-fees-calculator-guest-post.md), then present it to the user with present_files.

After delivering, ask:

"Want me to adjust the tone, length, angle, or TrueProfit pitch section? I can also add or remove sections."

Link and anchor text rules

  • Always hyperlink TrueProfit on first mention using the URL provided by the user (default: https://trueprofit.io)
  • If the user did not specify anchor text, determine it contextually:
    • Homepage link: use "TrueProfit" or a descriptive phrase like "net profit analytics for Shopify"
    • Shopify App listing: use "TrueProfit on the Shopify App Store" or "TrueProfit app"
    • Specific blog URL: use the topic of that page as anchor text
  • Secondary mentions of TrueProfit within the same article can be plain text or linked again if naturally appropriate
  • Never use generic anchors like "click here", "this tool", or "learn more" as the only anchor

Hard rules (never break these)

  • Never invent features, stats, integrations, or claims not in the Brand Reference above
  • Never use em dashes
  • Never use AI filler phrases listed above
  • Never reproduce or closely paraphrase copyrighted content from the reference article — use it only for style matching
  • Do not insert TrueProfit pricing unless the reference article includes pricing for comparable tools (match the pattern). When the article's subject is a platform or tool (for example, Shopify fees), include its pricing with a concrete number for every tier or fee mentioned, never a vague descriptor, and state the billing cycle. Use US pricing for US-facing posts (see Referenced platform pricing)
  • Never output empty bullets or unfilled placeholders in the final article
  • Always deliver the article as a .md file via present_files — never paste as plain inline text
