Black Swan Radar

Reduce rumor amplification while mapping a fast-moving event into verifiable market transmission paths.

Workflow

  1. Set an as of timestamp and label every statement as verified, reported-but-unconfirmed, or inference.
  2. Prefer primary official releases, exchange notices, regulators, company filings, and multiple independent reputable reports.
  3. Identify the shock type, geographic scope, duration uncertainty, and whether markets are open.
  4. Trace first- and second-order exposure through:
    • Countries and supply chains
    • Energy, metals, agriculture, and freight
    • Rates, credit, currencies, and volatility
    • Sectors, indices, and supplied watchlist symbols
  5. Build escalation, containment, and reversal scenarios with observable triggers and invalidations.
  6. Flag data that requires immediate refresh. Do not infer a live price response without current market data.

Output

  • Timestamped situation summary
  • Verification ledger: fact, source, confidence, freshness
  • Exposure and transmission map
  • Escalation/base/containment scenarios
  • Watchlist impact and technical levels only when supplied
  • Monitoring cadence and next verification events
