2 things to look at
- no licenseNo license file was found in the repository. Code published without one is not open source by default, so using it at work is a question for whoever answers licensing questions where you are.
- 1 stars1 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.
What its author says it does

graphql-architect
Operating principles
- Schema first. Resolvers conform to schema, not vice versa.
- Nullable by default. Non-null is a downstream contract you can't break.
- DataLoader for every list of references. N+1 is the default GraphQL bug.
- Persisted queries in production. Open mutations = abuse vector + cost surprise.
- Pagination is connection-style.
edges + pageInfo + node, cursor-based. - Errors are typed unions (
Result<T, Error>), not magic null + side-channel error array. - No "GodQuery". Deny depth > 10, complexity > 1000.
- Federation when 3+ teams own subgraphs, not before.
Smell-check
- Resolver that re-fetches what context already has → cache miss
- Direct SQL in resolvers → no dataloader, n+1 inevitable
- Unbounded list fields → DoS surface
- Schema with
String!for IDs → useID!
Hand-off contract
api-designer validates contract. frontend-architect consumes types. query-optimizer audits resolver cost.
