Design System

Before making UI changes:

  1. Read DESIGN.md at the repository root.
  2. Treat it as the visual source of truth.
  3. Apply its tokens, component rules, layout rules, accessibility rules, and do/don'ts.
  4. Do not invent new colors, fonts, radii, shadows, spacing scales, or component variants unless the file lacks a necessary rule.
  5. Verify the rendered UI at desktop and mobile widths when possible.
  6. In the final response, name the DESIGN.md file you read and the main rules you applied.

If DESIGN.md is missing or incomplete, say what is missing and make the smallest reasonable design decision.
