Literary Emotive Writing for Poetry
1. Imagery of War
- Desolation: 蓬蒿 (penghao - weeds), 瓦砾 (wali - ruins), 杜鹃 (dujuan - cuckoo, symbolizes sad crying).
- Violence: 烽烟 (fengyan), 戈戟 (geji - weapons), 鼙鼓 (pigu - war drums).
- Personal Suffering: 鬓霜 (binshuang - graying hair), 泣露 (qilu - crying), 孤影 (guying).
2. Imagery of Peace
- Agriculture: 桑麻 (sangma), 鸡犬 (jiquan - peaceful village sounds), 丰稔 (fengren - good harvest).
- Peaceful Life: 太平 (taiping), 乐土 (letu), 安恬 (antian).
- Natural Beauty: 暖日 (nuanri), 柳风 (liufeng), 燕语 (yanyu).
3. Contrast (对比)
- Use contrast to highlight the suffering.
- "Iron armors cold" vs. "Warm hearth at home".
- "Silent ruins" vs. "Bustling markets".
4. Personification (拟人)
