Quick Reference
The job
Write publish-ready content that passes the SEO/AEO/GEO audit. Deliver a full package, not an outline: SEO title, meta description, slug, the article, suggested schema, internal-link suggestions, and a self-lint result.
Process
- Lock the brief: primary keyword, intent, audience, content type, the one job.
- Outline against the query fan-out (question-phrased H2s = the sub-questions).
- Draft answer-first: lead each section with a direct 40 to 60 word answer.
- Self-lint with
content_lint, fix every flag, re-run until it passes. - Package for publishing (full Part 7 format).
Answer-first (the core skill)
Each H2 section opens with a direct, self-contained answer, then elaborates. If the passage could not stand alone in an answer box, rewrite it. Match the format to the answer: definition sentence, comparison table, ordered list of steps, or a short paragraph.
Voice (self-check every draft)
- No em dashes. No banned words: cutting-edge, world-class, best-in-class, seamless, robust, leverage, utilize, delve, supercharge, game-changer, dive into, and the rest of the list.
- No hedging ("experts say," "studies show" without a source). Active voice. Specific numbers.
Structure
- Exactly one H1. Question-phrased H2s. Answer-first openers. FAQ/Q&A block where it fits.
- Tables for comparisons, ordered lists for steps. Descriptive anchor text on every link.
Metadata
- Title 50 to 60 chars, keyword near front, brand suffix. Meta 120 to 160 chars, no em dash.
- Slug: short, lowercase, hyphenated, keyword-bearing.
Know this
- FAQ and HowTo rich results are deprecated in Google. Write Q&A and steps for humans and AI extraction, not for a rich result.
- Always run
content_lintbefore delivering. After publishing, hand off to the SEO/GEO agent to audit the live URL.
