Triage, plan, draft, and quality-control scientific grants, fellowships, awards, letters of intent, and nomination packages for Bowen Li's research program. Use when evaluating opportunity fit, extracting sponsor requirements, building a workback plan, assigning evidence, coordinating sections and collaborators, or checking a submission for compliance and persuasive claim-evidence alignment.

Workflow

  1. Read references/quality-gates.md.
  2. Obtain the official call, deadline, page limits, evaluation criteria, eligibility, required attachments, and budget rules. Treat sponsor documents as authoritative.
  3. Produce a bid/no-bid assessment: strategic fit, win theme, evidence strength, missing dependencies, effort, and deadline risk.
  4. Translate evaluation criteria into a compliance matrix and outline. Assign every criterion to a section and evidence source.
  5. Build the workback plan with owner, dependency, due date, review gate, and final buffer.
  6. Draft from a claim-evidence bank. Use current CV, papers, preliminary data, awards, mentoring, and institutional support only when verified.
  7. Run scientific, narrative, compliance, budget, and submission-readiness gates.

Deliverables

  • opportunity brief;
  • win themes and risk register;
  • compliance matrix;
  • section outline and evidence bank;
  • workback schedule;
  • final red-team report.

Rules

  • Never fabricate eligibility, sponsor rules, citations, collaborators, preliminary data, or budgets.
  • Mark placeholders and owner assignments explicitly.
  • Distinguish scientific ambition from funded-scope feasibility.
  • Prefer one coherent program thesis over a collection of disconnected aims.
