What its author says it does
Copied from the file, not written here
Draft platform-specific posts from a chosen angle using the user's voice files, examples, and audience notes. Use when a signal has already been selected and the next job is to turn it into a real draft, test hooks or endings, or adapt the same idea for LinkedIn, X, or newsletter writing.

Post Drafter
Overview
Take one angle and turn it into a real post draft.
The angle should already exist. This skill is for drafting, not for broad news scouting.
Inputs to read first
Before drafting, read:
templates/VOICE.mdtemplates/DO_NOT_SAY.mdtemplates/EXAMPLES.mdtemplates/POST_SCORECARD.md
Also ask for or infer:
- platform
- audience
- chosen angle
- optional CTA preference
Core workflow
1. Clarify the job of the post
Define the dominant job:
- explain a shift
- tell a story
- share a lesson
- argue a point
- announce something
- recap an event
Keep one main angle only.
2. Draft in the user's voice
Use the voice files actively. Do not write a generic first draft and hope editing will fix it.
3. Match the platform
Adapt the draft to the platform:
- LinkedIn: slightly fuller, more narrative or argument
- X: tighter, more compressed
- newsletter: more room for context
4. Offer useful variants only when asked
Good optional variants:
- 3 hooks
- 2 endings
- visual prompt
- short version
Do not flood the user with options by default.
Hard rules
- do not invent beliefs the user does not have
- do not mix 2 angles into one post
- do not add empty thought-leadership lines
- do not make it smoother than the user actually sounds
Resources
- Read
references/hook-patterns.mdwhen the first line is weak. - Read
references/platform-adaptation.mdwhen the same idea needs multiple surfaces. - Use
assets/visual-prompt-template.mdif the user wants a visual prompt.
