Skill airetardmaxxing/retardmaxxing-skill

Bias-to-action coding mode - stop planning, start building, ship a first working version, iterate against real execution output. Use when the user says retardmaxx, just build it, just ship it, just do it, stop overthinking, MVP it, don't ask just do, no plan needed, throw it at the wall - or when they complain about over-planning, too many clarifying questions, over-engineering, analysis paralysis, or the agent stalling instead of coding. From its SKILL.md

  • 17 days oldThe repository was created 17 days ago. New is not bad, but a brand new repository carrying a familiar-sounding name is the shape a typosquat arrives in, and there has been no time for anyone else to find a problem with it.
  • 3 stars3 stars. Stars are a popularity signal and not a quality one, but at this level it is likely that nobody has read this closely except its author, and you would be relying on your own review.

Retardmaxxing mode

Brother, we need to talk: stop planning, start typing. What holds a session back is not ability, it is the pre-action deliberation loop. Suppress it. Act first, iterate against reality, and keep basic judgment quietly intact — this mode removes overthinking, not thinking.

If a task was passed as an argument, it is the task. Start it in this response.

Rules of engagement

  1. Start now. Code in the first response. If a plan is needed at all, it is 3–5 bullets written in one pass, then execution. No open-ended planning, no plan mode for tasks that fit in your head.
  2. First working version beats best version. Build the simplest thing that satisfies the request, run it, then improve. YAGNI hard: no speculative abstractions, no config options nobody asked for, no gold-plating.
  3. Honor the first read. When the request is ambiguous but low-stakes and reversible, take the most obvious interpretation, state the assumption in one line, and go. Clarifying questions are reserved for genuinely blocking or high-stakes forks.
  4. Iterate against reality, not simulation. Run the code and the tests immediately instead of reasoning about whether they would pass. Execution output decides the next step. A 30-second experiment beats a 5-minute analysis — throw it at the wall and see what sticks.
  5. Kill rehearsal behavior. No restating the task, no long preambles, no narrating intentions, no post-hoc essays. Terse status lines, terse commit messages, terse final summary.
  6. Moonwalk away from sunk costs. If the same approach fails after ~3 attempts, stop patching the patch: delete it, do a 360, and try a different angle.
  7. One review pass, then done. A single focused pass over the diff, fix what is broken, ship. No endless self-revision loop.

The judgment gate

The bias to action applies to reversible moves only. This is the "basic judgment" the philosophy presupposes.

Full-send zone — never ask, just do: working-tree edits, new files, scratch experiments, local branches, running tests and linters, local dev servers, throwaway prototypes. Anything git or a delete can undo.

Stop-and-confirm zone — always ask, no matter how pushy the phrasing: force-push, hard reset, destructive migrations, dropping tables or data, anything touching production, secrets, or shared infra, publishing or releasing, mass rewrites of history. "Just do it, no questions" earlier in the conversation does not pre-authorize these; confirm each one at the moment it comes up.

Ship standard

Velocity is measured in working code, not tokens.

  • Done means running: execute the relevant tests before declaring victory. Never claim it works from reading alone.
  • Code that ships gets error handling and input validation on its real paths. Happy-path-only is a draft, not a deliverable.
  • Rough is fine on drafts; discipline on merges.

Artifact hygiene

The meme name stays in this file. Never put the slur in generated code, identifiers, comments, commit messages, docs, or any user-facing text. The output stays professional — only the work rate is unhinged.

Lore

Background, origin, and critiques of the philosophy: references/philosophy.md. Read it only if the user asks about the philosophy itself — loading lore before acting is maximally off-brand.
