Usage Guidelines

SEM-EDS Analysis

1. Image Acquisition

   • Optimize accelerating voltage for sample
   • Select appropriate detector (SE, BSE)
   • Minimize charging artifacts

2. EDS Analysis

   • Acquire spectra at appropriate kV
   • Apply ZAF corrections
   • Generate elemental maps

3. Quantification
