What the numbers on a row are

Stars, license and activity dates are read from the repository by a machine, and each row says when they were read. Nobody here has reviewed most of this software, and a star count is a popularity signal rather than a safety one.

Where a signal is missing, the row says which one. Where nothing is missing, it stays quiet rather than repeating a disclaimer you would stop reading by the fourth row.

Stacks

A stack is one person’s selection with their name on it. The picking is theirs. The numbers on each item are ours and render the same wherever that item turns up.
